Amarello (Amarelo) Ornamental is a classic granite from the Minas Gerais region of Brazil, a state famed for its stone. A true igneous granite, it is composed of interlocking quartz, feldspar and biotite mica, giving warm beiges, golds, grays and creams. Its Portuguese name simply means 'ornamental yellow,' describing the soft golden tone that made it a long-time fabricator favorite. Stone reads differently in person — full slabs vary in movement and tone from any single swatch, so we'll pull the actual slab for you to see before anything is cut.
