Fortaleza

Fortaleza is a low-variation granite quarried in Brazil and is essentially the same stone marketed as Brazilian Luna Pearl (also called Branco Fortaleza). This fine-to-medium-grained igneous rock of quartz, feldspar and mica reads as a light grey background densely speckled with beige and black flecks. The name comes from the Portuguese word for 'fortress,' and by extension the Brazilian city of Fortaleza. Stone reads differently in person — full slabs vary in movement and tone from any single swatch, so we'll pull the actual slab for you to see before anything is cut.
