New River White
New River White is a granite quarried in southern India, a region renowned for white-and-grey speckled stone. Geologically a fine-to-medium-grained granulite/granite of quartz, feldspar and mica from the Precambrian period, it shows an alabaster-white base with stormy silver-grey swirls and occasional deep-burgundy garnet speckles. The 'River White' name evokes the flowing, water-like grey movement across the slab. Stone reads differently in person — full slabs vary in movement and tone from any single swatch, so we'll pull the actual slab for you to see before anything is cut.
