Premium Black

Premium Black is a solid black granite quarried in India, which alongside southern China is one of the principal sources of true black stone (it is closely related to Absolute Black). This fine-grained igneous rock is rich in dark minerals such as feldspar and amphibole, giving a deep, low-variation black with very little visible movement. The name simply reflects its premium, uniform jet-black appearance. Stone reads differently in person — full slabs vary in movement and tone from any single swatch, so we'll pull the actual slab for you to see before anything is cut.
