Silver Cloud
The Silver Cloud sold by MSI and most US distributors is a fine-grained grey-to-white gneiss quarried in India, marked by graceful swirls of black and silver-gray over an ivory ground (it is sometimes also called Viscount White). Confusingly, a genuinely named 'Silver Cloud' granite deposit is also quarried near Atlanta, Georgia, so the name covers more than one stone. The 'cloud' refers to the soft, smoky banding of the gneiss, a metamorphic-igneous rock. Stone reads differently in person — full slabs vary in movement and tone from any single swatch, so we'll pull the actual slab for you to see before anything is cut.
