Steel Grey
Steel Grey is extracted from the Martur/Gurujaypali area of Prakasam district in Andhra Pradesh, South India, a region with dozens of active quarries. It is a low-variation igneous granite in even steel- and charcoal-gray tones, its color set by dark biotite and feldspar in a tight, consistent grain. The name simply markets its industrial, steel-like uniform gray. Stone reads differently in person — full slabs vary in movement and tone from any single swatch, so we'll pull the actual slab for you to see before anything is cut.
