Quartzite
Allure
Allure is a Brazilian quartzite sold in the US by MSI, sourced from Brazil and known for a chunky pattern of creams, grays, blues, and white veining. As a metamorphic stone, it formed when ancient quartz sandstone was buried and recrystallized under heat and pressure, fusing the quartz grains into an extremely hard, scratch- and etch-resistant surface that outperforms granite. The name 'Allure' is a marketing reference to the stone's eye-catching, alluring veined appearance rather than a place. Stone reads differently in person — full slabs vary in movement and tone from any single swatch, so we'll pull the actual slab for you to see before anything is cut.
