Quartzite
Cirrus Gray
Cirrus Gray is a Brazilian quartzite distributed by MSI (also known in the trade as Tordilho), quarried in Brazil and known for sweeping charcoal waves accented by deep ebony veins. As a quartzite it formed when an ancient quartz-rich sandstone was recrystallized under heat and pressure into a hard, interlocking quartz rock that resists scratching and etching better than granite. The name 'Cirrus' likens its soft, wispy gray banding to high cirrus clouds. Stone reads differently in person — full slabs vary in movement and tone from any single swatch, so we'll pull the actual slab for you to see before anything is cut.
